In addition to the wonderful gardens and lavender fields, Alan has a passion for breeding rare birds and operates a rescue sanctuary on the property for many different ducks, chickens and peacocks.

We raise Black Copper Marans a rare breed of feather-legged poultry from France which lay the most beautiful dark brown eggs. Ask about availability of hatching eggs, chicks and adult birds. Extra eggs are often sold at the farm shop are available for sale. Extra heritage roosters that are accumulated through our rescue program are avilable for sale to good homes in exchange for a bag of feed.

Peacock chicks are sold at 3-4 months of age so they can be identified as males or females.
